About the Willanders.
Passionate. Driven. Dedicated to excellence.
Afton and Jenson Willander have been passionate about racing from a very young age. Their journey began on local tracks in Oklahoma, where they quickly stood out for their talent and tenacity. Over the years, they have competed in numerous national events, consistently finishing at the top of their categories. The brothers are supported on and off the track by their parents who have a long history in motorsports. Their father Dustin has worked in IndyCar, IMSA, and the 24H Series in Europe as a Car Chief and has won notable race such as Petit LeMans, Bathurst 12H, Sebring 12H, and the 24H of Nürburgring.
Afton Willander (Now 16): With a fierce competitive spirit and a keen strategic mind, Afton has quickly risen through the ranks of youth kart racing. He is well-regarded for his sportsmanship and leadership on and off the track. He is moving up to a higher level of competition this year and will be racing in the KA100 class.
Afton attends Classen School of Advanced Studies in 10th grade and is a band major.
Jenson Willander (Now 11): Despite his young age, Jenson has already demonstrated remarkable skill and potential. Known for his fearless driving style and quick adaptability, he is a rising star in the karting world. Jenson, also known as “Bird,” is also moving up from the 206 class to the much quicker Mini Swift category.
Jenson attends Belle Isle Middle School and is in 5th grade.
